Job Title: Earthmoving MechanicLocation: Northern Cape, South AfricaPosition Type: Full-timeJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Earthmoving Mechanic to join our client's team in the mining industry, in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of heavy-duty earthmoving equipment used in mining operations.Responsibilities:Conduct routine maintenance on earthmoving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and wheel loadersDiagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipmentPerform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment functions properly and avoid costly breakdownsKeep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipmentCollaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipmentComply with all safety regulations and ensure equipment is safe to operateRequirements:Grade 12Diesel or Earthmoving Equipment Trade Test CertificateMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Earthmoving Mechanic in the mining industryProficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with heavy-duty equipmentKnowledge of preventative maintenance procedures for earthmoving equipmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work in a remote mining location in the Northern CapeBenefits: Salary: R500K-R700K per yearFamily Responsibility Leave (if applicable)If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at mininghireresolve.za.comPlease note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
