Requirements B Ed or Diploma in ECD SACE registered Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in ECD Educational Management experience Educational Leadership Child Development Expertise Management Parent and Community Engagement Regulatory Compliance with educational bodies Leadership Conflict Resolution Team Building Budget Management Communication Skills Stakeholder Engagement Behavioural Competencies & Personal Attributes Passion for Early Childhood Education Social and Emotional Intelligence Decision-Making Innovative Thinking Time Management Adaptability Professionalism Compassion Integrity Resilience Cultural Sensitivity Inspirational Leadership Reflective Practitioner Key Performance Areas Educational Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality early childhood development programs. Curriculum Implementation: Oversee the implementation of the ATB curriculum that align with best practices and educational standards. Staff Management: Induct, train, mentor, and evaluate ECD staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team. Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider community to support children's learning and growth. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant local and national government regulations and standards for ECD programs. Budget and Resource Management: Effective management of financial resources and assets to maintain a well-functioning program. Quality Assurance: Monitoring and assessing the quality of the ECD program. Child Welfare and Safety : Prioritise the safety and well-being of children, including adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
