Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and solutions tailored to the specific requirements of mining operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into overall mine infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity. Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical engineering principles, standards, and best practices to support project development and execution. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime and mitigate operational risks. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the field of electrical engineering, applying relevant knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience 5 years working as an Electrical Engineer within the mining industry, with a strong understanding of mining operations, processes, and equipment. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, theories, and methodologies, with a focus on power distribution, control systems, and automation. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, with the ability to develop detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex electrical projects from conception to completion, adhering to project timelines and budgetary constraints. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
