Qualifications and Education:

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, covering a broad spectrum of electrical systems and projects.
Extensive experience in project management, overseeing the planning, design, and construction of electrical engineering projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects in areas such as power distribution systems, renewable energy systems, industrial automation, and electrical infrastructure.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with the ability to effectively plan, schedule, and execute projects within budget and timeline constraints.
Strong technical skills in electrical engineering design software and tools, including AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and community members.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to mentor and coach junior engineers, provide guidance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Experience working with government contracts, understanding procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders and address community concerns in electrical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform project planning and decision-making.
Develop detailed designs, technical specifications, and engineering drawings for electrical systems and infrastructure.
Oversee construction activities, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
Collaborate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical engineering matters, resolving technical issues and mitigating project risks.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers, provide training and development opportunities, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
