Reference: NES017678-RS-1A consulting engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Consulting Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our consulting firm, you will work closely with clients to provide expert guidance and solutions in various areas of electrical engineering. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple industries, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, renewable energy, and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities: Provide expert consultation and technical advice to clients on electrical engineering projects, including design, analysis, and troubleshooting. Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Develop electrical designs, specifications, and drawings for power distribution systems, lighting systems, control systems, and renewable energy systems. Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex engineering concepts in a clear and concise manner. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to electrical engineering. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable time-frame. Proven experience in consulting or design engineering, with a focus on electrical systems for buildings, facilities, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards (NEC, IEEE, etc.). Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent tools. Experience with power distribution, lighting design, renewable energy systems, and building automation/control systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
