Are you an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation professional looking for a challenging opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our clients are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. As the Electrical and Instrumentation Tech, you will be responsible for coordinating activities within the Electrical Department to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. Your duties will include: Ensuring compliance with BSC & OHSA standards. Maintaining quality, waste, and production standards and goals. Ensuring plant and processes run as per IMS standards, SOPs, WI, formats, specifications, and best practices. Communicating effectively with other departments to resolve mechanical problems, coordinate job preparations, changeovers, and daily shift information. Reporting production/systems accurately and timely, including waste, WIP, time codes, and raw materials. Motivating employees to comply with safety and operational standards. Participating in and facilitating training programs. Supervising and controlling maintenance activities of all machines. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment, in the Electrical & Instrumentation Department at a similar position. National Trade Certificate in Electrical or Instrumentation, National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Food Safety Certificate (Advantageous). Strong leadership skills would be advantageous.
