Apply now to be part of their dynamic team Skills and Requirements: BSc or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering. 7 to 10 years of proven experience in project management and engineering within the power transmission and distribution sector. Proven solar project experience is advantageous. Experience in tendering for turnkey electrical transmission and distribution projects. Experience in managing turnkey electrical transmission and distribution projects. Proficiency in project management tools, such as MS Project, and experience with CAD software like AutoCAD, advantageous. A knowledge of French will be an advantage. Work Activities and Responsibilities: Plan, execute and manage electrical power transmission and distribution projects from conception to completion, adhering to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. Oversee the installation of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safety standards and project specifications are met. Design, test, develop, and install electrical transmission lines and distribution systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure project alignment with established goals and industry regulations. Manage the engineering design and do the site assessments and technical evaluations to ensure optimal solutions and design approaches for the power system construction and installations. Work with the draughtsman in the view of creating technical drawings for substations and lines construction, using computer-aided design (AutoCAD). Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve the power system design objectives. Provide technical expertise and guidance on power systems, equipment selection, and design optimisation to enhance project performance. Develop design specifications and functional requirements for power systems or components. Monitor project progress and costs, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate issues impacting project delivery. Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during construction, installation, testing, system commissioning, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in power, and solar energy-related projects. Create checklists for review or inspection of completed installation projects. Run the tender process with technical expertise and guidance on power systems, and equipment selection.
