Job Experience & Skills Required:

3-5 years of proven experience as a technician.
Proficient in assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools and testing equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment and hand tools, locating breakdown causes and implementing corrective measures.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect equipment and components for defects, adjusting or repairing as needed.
Plan electrical equipment installations on fixtures based on job specifications.
Direct and train workers in the installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical wiring equipment and fixtures.
Utilize a variety of tools and testing equipment.
Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including laying conduits and moving/lifting heavy equipment.
