Reference: EL002649-Bronw-1We are seeking an Electrical Technician for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape. An automotive component manufacturing concern based in East London seeks to employ a qualified, experienced, and dynamic electrical technician Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: SETA Approved Trade Qualification (Electrician / Millwright) or Electrical Engineering Diploma 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing environment ESSENTIAL Knowledge of Servo drivers and motors as well as PLC diagnostics (programming ability advantageous) Switchgear & logic knowledge Must be willing to work a 3-shift system and have own transport The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Attending to all breakdowns in plant; replacement of work and damaged components, jig fixtures and testing equipment Supporting preventative maintenance tasks for equipment, jig fixtures and testing equipment Participate and support continuous improvement projects Admin of critical spares and electronic maintenance system Support installation and commissioning of jigs, fixtures and control systems, quality, OHS and productivity activities and verifications thereof Salary: Market related Please email detailed CV and supporting documentation and salary requirements through to bronwynsheldon.co.za with Electrical Technician in the subject lineIf you have not received a response within 7 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful
