One of our clients in the Amanzimtoti area is seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic and Industrial Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. They must have a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Install electrical wiring, lighting systems, and fixtures in new and existing buildings, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, identifying and repairing any faults or malfunctions to ensure optimal performance and safety. Repair: Diagnose electrical problems and perform repairs or replacements of faulty components, such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and motors. Testing and Troubleshooting: Use testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and verify the functionality of electrical systems. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and electrical hazards. Ensure that all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities, as well as materials used and hours worked. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors, providing updates on work progress, explaining technical issues, and offering recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
