PepsiCo SA employs more than 13, 000 people across our three business divisions: Bakeries, Grains, Foods, Fruit, Snacks, Juice & Beverages. Responsibilities Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, PLC's or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, PLC's and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and insulation meter, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Qualifications 3-4 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment Electrical Technical Trade (N3) Shift work / Standby Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations Own vehicle and drivers licence (preferable) "PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
