Electronic Technician - Gauteng
Job summary The Electronics Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware and related electronic devices and systems to the component level. Duties and Responsibilities - Configures, tests, updates and repairs computers, pc boards and motherboards to the component level. - Formatting computers and reinstall software. - Performs regular preventive maintenance and diagnostic tests on computer systems. - Ensure maintenance of computer systems and software backups. - Assist computer users with technical problems on request or as needed. - Identify and repair common causes of trouble such as loose connections or defective components. - Review Manufacturers’ specifications on connections and methods to locate problems. - Perform any other duties as assigned by your superior. Skills and Abilities - Ability to work independently and in a team. - Interpersonal and communications skills. - Ability to diagnose and solve problems. - Must be Self-driven.
