One of the leading automotive company is looking for a Pilot Hall Vehicle Electronics. As part of the Pilot Hall Vehicle Electronics team, the incumbent will be responsible to support, investigate and resolve root cause problems within production regarding vehicle electrics / electronics to ensure quality and volume target is met. Additionally, the incumbent will address product related concerns during pre-series/launch phase. Establishing root causes and implementing corrective actions for allocated problems. Providing specialized support to production with regards to vehicle electrics/electronics by using various company diagnostic and analysis system to resolve vehicle electronic issues. Test, analyze and resolve issues relating to vehicle harness, control unit software's and electronic faults on prototype/pre-series vehicles prior to new vehicle launch. Compile and present findings / reports at various forums. Coordination of a cross departmental team within company focusing on problem resolution of vehicle electronic topics. Liaising with overseas counterparts with regards to build and quality matters. Develop, implement, and manage vehicle electronic diagnostic and test equipment within Pilot Hall workshop. Qualification requirements National Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (excluding heavy current) or Bachelor in mechatronics Experience needed - Minimum of 1 year experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, C#, C++, VB) Essentials Knowledgeable on the vehicle electric / electronic systems (brakes, airbag, lights etc.) Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root cause problems. Ability and willingness to contribute innovative solutions and ideas. Capable of effectively and efficiently communicating topics to target audience (including management) by compiling and presenting presentations/analysis. Able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions. Computer literate in MS Office (i.e. Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) Have sound organization and Project Management skills Have the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary team with other Engineers. Added Advantage 3 year's experience in vehicle manufacturing or related field to vehicle electronics. Basic understanding of German Language. Experience with Python programming language. Experience with VBA in Excel Experience with vehicle electronic diagnostic system. Basic salary negotiable, benefits includes medicala aid, 13th cheque, provident fund, relocation costs
