About This Opportunity We are now looking for a Real Estate Finance/cost Performance Analyst to lead and provide financial and cost management support to the Global Workplace Operations Unit of the Real Estate Organization within Europe, Middle East & Africa ( EMEA). The EMEA RE Finance Performance Analyst will be working directly with the Global Workplace Operations Regional Heads of Function for Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Integrated Facilities Management Lead for EMEA and have interactions with the Real Estate Business Partners at Customer Unit and Regional Levels on a regular basis. It will be the EMEA RE Finance Analyst responsibility to manage & coordinate the GWO annual budget and cost target delivery of the Global Workplace Operations across EMEA. This will include but not limited to budget/forecast planning, regular cost review and reporting to senior management and supporting the delivery teams in meeting their cost targets in close collaboration with the IFM supplier teams and the central Ericsson finance teams. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the GWO Head of Function within Middle East & Africa ( MEA). The role is multi Country hiring and can be based in multiple Countries in Africa, Middle East or in Europe. What You Will Do The successful Candidate will be responsible for the end to end financial and cost management delivery to the Global Workplace Operations Unit across Europe, Middle East and Africa from budget planning and annual GWO budgeting process support, regular Full Year Estimation based on approved cost target, support to the delivery teams with accrual accuracy and cost booking accuracy. Drive and support any cost savings initiatives with Real Estate Business Partners and IFM Supplier teams. Create monthly financial and cost performance reports for management decision making. Provide a subject matter expertise (SME) support and streamlining the cost and financial management process where financial acumen is identified as an area for further development . The EMEA RE Financial Analyst will Act as the conduit and SME in aligning the EMEA regions with best practices following financial due diligence across EMEA to collect, analyze and draft cost savings initiatives with input from all REBP’s to ensure a sustained financial performance YoY. Track performance metrics, used by REBPs and Hofs to make strategic regional decisions by focusing on the details while finding creative ways to solve big challenges at local and regional level. Plans, forecasts, and provides advise on operating and capital expenses to REBPs and Head of Function. Support Real Estate Business Partners (REBPs) with drafting of budgets, including approvals and process improvements. Drive analysis to provide insight and recommendations that inform regional business decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate team, finance, sourcing and IFM business partners. Support Global Accounts Centre (GAC) teams for month end closings activities with IFM cost and Portfolio cost accruals. Provide collaboration and support as appropriate, with project related activities to the Portfolio & Project Management Unit (PPM) of the Real Estate Organization and REBPs upon request . Drive GWO performance excellence regionally by challenging all financial decisions or supporting complex budgeting challenges. Be a key support in driving Energy & Sustainability Financial performance and cost targets across EMEA by leveraging savings opportunities, identifying gaps in supplier reporting and delivery. Lead and drive budget planning and forecasting models at regional level , regional performance reporting, feasibility analysis, applying real estate fundamental concepts for financial analysis. Support detailed monthly financial follow-up to GWO team on Country/Location level, work closely with GAC team to prepare quarterly/year-end accruals, Be the business finance lead for EMEA’s first contact point in GWO when a cost fluctuation is identified, and further detail/explanation is required. You Will Bring Graduate degree/MBA in relevant discipline such as Bsc Finance & Accounting/business administration/finance/ Chartered Financial Analyst or and MBA Finance etc.) Professional Certifications to be renewed on an ongoing basis for validity from a recognized institutions. Minimum 6-10 years proven years of experience, in similar roles within the financial sector, telecommunications & ICT, Real Estate, Facilities Management & Construction etc. Ability to work within a very complex interdisciplinary environment and leading difficult conversations with senior stakeholders is critical for this role.
