Employee Relations Business Partner - Witbank

Minimum Requirements:
* National diploma or degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
* Advanced Labour Law diploma (desirable)
* Registered with HR professional bodies
* 5 Years experience as an HR generalist
* Valid driver's license and own transport
* Computer literacy
* Attention to detail

Tasks and output:
*
Ensure legal compliance and keep up with ER trends in the business area
*
Represent the company in disciplinary/grievance hearings and consolidations/arbitration cases at the CCMA as and when required.
* Provide advice to management, departments, chairpersons and employees with regards to employee relations and disciplinary processes.
* Support the HR manager with ensuring sound labour relations throughout the unit/departments through proactive engagements with the workforce and trade unions
* Monitor HR and organizational climate
* Provide counselling, mediation and consulting services if/when required
* Align ER functions to the training functions (e.g. training line supervision on the disciplinary code)
* Compile statistics and monthly ER reports
* Support to HR on tracking and checking the wellbeing of employees off site
* Plan and coordinate union training plans
