Energy Engineer - - Johannesburg

Leading consulting engineering firm is seeking an Energy Engineer with experience in the renewable energy consulting engineering sector.

The position can be based in Cape Town or Johannesburg.

The position will have particular focus on the electrical engineering aspects of projects, but also business development and project management support of PV, wind, battery storage, green hydrogen and mini/ micro grid projects.

Focus on grid-connections and large project context, structure and role players.

Requirements:

BEng. or BSc. in Electrical Engineering (preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy
Candidate Engineer with ECSA
4 - 6 years Design experience in renewable energy projects in a consulting engineering environment
Writing technical reports and presentations, compiling design drawings and presentations
Preparation of bids and proposals
Support the senior engineer in winning work
Projects 20MW and over
