KEMPTON PARK JOHNNESBURG PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Contribute to the overall engineering activities related to the delegated tasks Contribute towards, draft and present for review relevant engineering documentation in accordance with delegated tasks Contribute and actively participate in general engineering activities (meetings, discussions, activities, engineering change requests, etc) Ensure that the engineering effort achieve and maintains its goals and objectives Comply with and apply internally defined and established engineering standards and policies Ensure that the engineering effort reaches its agreed progress milestones Provide recommendations for engineering process improvement MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BTech degree or BSc in electronic/computer engineering 5 years experience in the Electronic Engineering field 5 years experience in Software Engineering Experience in developing for harsh environmental conditions Hardware and Software R&D Experience non-negotiable Gas detection Technologies experience beneficial Intrinsic Safety experience beneficial
