Our client is a leeding supplier of reinforcing solutions to the civil, mining, building and construction industries with a vacant position for a ENGINEERING BUYER in the Vereeniging area. Responsible for full Procurement function (Sourcing, Supplier management / development, Contracting, Operational Procurement) Procurement and order management of MRO (Mechanical and Electrical) products and stock Responsible for the Engineering spares and inventory store Processing of procurement functions on Syspro 3-5 Years procurement experience as a technical / engineering / MRO buyer MS Office with advanced Excel and reporting skills. Experience in Syspro a prerequisite Formal studies (Diploma) in Procurement and Supply management will be beneficial. Strong negotiation skills Knowledge of sourcing, supplier and contract management in technical and engineering mantenance products CIPS membership will beneficial Fully Bilingual Own transport and valid drivers license Other Skills: Negotiation and Organisational Skills Working under presure and high pace environment Good interpersonal and team player skills CTC remuneration based on skills and experience at R25k to R30k per month.
