National Diploma in a relevant field of study Minimum of 5 years' in mining economic transformation space. Knowledge of economic transformation legislation - Mining Charter, and BBBEE regulations. Experience in Supply Chain in mining industry. Knowledge of Stakeholder Management and Project Management. Bachelor's degree in Commerce or in relevant field of study will be advantageous. Implement Preferential Procurement, Enterprise, and Supplier Development initiatives in line with the group's ESD policy guidelines and procedure. Initiate and promote the transformation projects and align to regulatory framework related to the Mining Charter, and Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE). Determine in conjunction with relevant stakeholders short and medium term ESD goals that should be reviewed annually or when the need arise. Encourage stakeholders to support the development and setting aside of procurement opportunities to support Enterprise and Supplier Development initiatives. Manage the ESD digital platform, which will be key to interacting with the local communities and enabling them to access procurement, enterprise, and supplier development opportunities. Accountable for ESD team performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of set goals and standards/objectives.
