As an Environmental Manager on site, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects adhere to the highest environmental standards expected by our clients and us. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring compliance with environmental regulations, permits and project specifications. Monitoring compliance to Power's environmental management system. Attend relevant meetings and provide feedback on environmental matters. Attend audits by the client and/or government departments. Compiling the relevant reports required by Power and/or the client. Conducting environmental assessments and surveys to identify potential risks and impacts. Developing and implementing strategies to minimize environmental harm during construction activities. Collaborating with project teams. Providing training and guidance to staff on environmental best practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders when it comes to environmental matters of the project. We are looking for a candidate who possess: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental management/science or similar. At least five (5) years relevant experience on a construction site(s). Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willing and able to work away from home. Experience in green field projects is advantageous. Apply Now
