Reference: RST001752-ab-1Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Johannesburg, Northcliff Our client based in Johannesburg, Northcliff is looking for an Estimator/Quality Surveyor to join their team.Minimum requirements: Grade 12. Estimating qualification or courses. Quantity surveying qualification and background preferred. Preferably construction industry knowledge. Experience in completing large scale tenders and bill of quantities. Ability to read architects drawings. Knowledge on Bills of Quantities. English/Afrikaans speaking. Duties include: Prepare estimations for quotations and tenders. Identify and analyze labour, material and time requirements. Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Prepare special reports. Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications. contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
