Experienced Spa Manager needed for a busy Spa Lodge in Hoedspruit. We are looking for a wellness advocate for a 5-star Spa facility within a Lodge in Limpopo managing a small team. Ideally to have a Yoga or Pilates or Fitness background as well. This is a live-in position in a Game Lodge in the Limpopo area, working 6 weeks on and two weeks off. Experience & Qualifications needed: Experience required of at least 7 years in a luxury spa and hospitality environment of which 2 years in a management/ supervisory role. HR knowledge and experience Proficient reading, writing, and communication in English. Strong administration skills, budgets, monthly reports, cash ups, and stock control. Qualified Health & Skin Care Therapist with a nationally recognized Diploma (minimum 2-year course). Yoga qualification or background (a huge advantage) Customer Service and Sales experience Experienced in Spa software management (ChiDesk advantageous). Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel) and professional email etiquette. Additional managerial, business, or self-development courses are advantageous. Personal interest in growth and development in the wellness industry Duties: Manage day-to-day Operations of the spa Ensures all treatments and standards are consistent with SOPs Ensures the Spa operating procedures, policies, and quality control documents are consistent, implemented, and regularly monitored. Ensures all staff jobs are performed to company standards Develops, monitors, and reviews all staffing needs and challenges Maximizes scheduling opportunities, and performs reception and cash-up duties as per operational needs Always maintains and upholds a professional image, behavior, and reputation of self and team, including when off-duty. Ensures administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, scheduling appointments, and handling billing and payment processing, meet deadlines Responsible for motivating and driving revenue to meet and exceed established targets. To monitor and mentor each employee to consistently improve performance and achieve their set target Motivates and encourages the Spa team, actively promoting all Spa services, products, and special offerings, to the lodge, and maintaining internal collateral. Create innovative revenue opportunities Maintain Guest Feedback and ensure satisfactory ratings for an overall spa experience Grow and develop spa team members by ensuring regular training sessions are being done Stock control & stock orders Ensure monthly/quarterly targets are met consistently Produce a monthly report Additional Employee Benefits: Departmental performance bonus for Spa Manager Staff Meals & Accommodation Pension Fund (mandatory) Medical Aid Contribution (Not mandatory).
