Export Co-ordinator (Exports) - Durban
Purpose:
Siupport the growth in export sales through the co-ordination of the paperwork, administration and communication from proforma invoice generation, through forecasting and SOPS to delivery and payment by the customer, protecting the interests of the company financially, ethically and creating a sustainable future through relationships, brand-protection and process development. Continually evaluate and implement better ways of working inclusive of understanding both South Africa and destination countrys legislation and logistics requirements.
Duties include:

Continually evaluate and implement better ways of working inclusive of understanding both South Africa and destination countrys legislation and logistics requirements.
Duties include:
- Form the link between the Export business, Supply Chain and Operations teams by developing, communicating and updating export forecasts in communication with the export business team
- Manage all order to delivery paperwork and communication for export business
- Prepare accurate pro-forma invoices
- Co-ordinate with respective colleagues and agencies to ensure that all required paperwork is managed for deliveries and to enable payment
- Update customers on ETA of their deliveries
- Be the knowledge base in the business of both the most efficient way to deliver to and enable payment from customers
- Keep up to date constantly on the legislative and logistics requirements of destination countries
- Maintain up to date on infrastructure improvements in targeted countries in Africa to enable efficient and effective logistic supply to customers
- Grade 12 certificate, a relevant degree or studying towards a relevant degree
- Min 5 years export experience
- Extensive knowledge of Incoterms recommended
- Fluent in English, other african languages also beneficial
- Intermediate computer literacy
