Currently seeking an Export Controller for a leading freight and logistics company based in Umhlanga. 3-4 years experience in Seafreight Exports having working for an Import/export/NVOCC company Must know how to make bookings with shipping lines . Must know how to co-ordinate and communicate with customers on their shipments Must know how to track and follow up on vessel stack dates , and how to do status reports to customers Must know all the relevant documents required to execute an export shipment eg , MBL/HBL…… If they have shipshape experience it's a plus but not a requirement. Be able to communicate with third parties / transporters Have Knowledge and understanding of – Certificate of Origin / Durban Chamber of Commerce Knowledge on Shipping lines On line services Knowledge on SI Knowledge on Navis Updates Knowledge on VGM process Matric 3 - 5 years export control experience R15 000 - R18 000 per month
