Applications are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven Facilities Co-ordinator to join a team based at the Head Office in Waterfall. This role reports directly to the Building & Technical Manager, in the Integrated Business Unit. Minimum Requirements Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 3 years' experience in a maintenance environment or facilities management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands Experience working with clients, end-users, vendors, contractors, and facilities managers Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer aided facilities management systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to plan, organise and control own work effort Good people skills Excellent time management skills Self-starter, must be able to work on own initiative Excellent customer relation skills Duties & Responsibilities Co-ordinate facilities tasks, assignment of materials & spares to technicians. Conduct quality inspections on assigned tasks. Ensure that best operating practices are applied when undertaking all tasks. Provide a list of required materials to your line manager to procure any necessary stock. Adhere to company standard operating practices and the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Act. Perform any other duties as may be required from time to time. Monitor and manage facility access and safety protocols, including security systems and protocols Carry out regular inspections of the site and tools. Ensure any issues are escalated to the line manager. Provide a monthly report of all activities undertaken. Ensure you keep your line manager and client informed of progress of assigned tasks. Issuing of access cards (lost; new; access amendment), managing visitors and contractors coming to site etc. Arranging the execution of planned preventative & corrective maintenance duties. Assisting in the development of the maintenance procedures. Manage the maintenance stores. Conduct periodic stocktakes and cycle counts. Apply Now
