Coordination of the learning and teaching activities within faculty. Implementation of learning and teaching strategy for the faculty Communication and coordination of learning and teaching policies, projects and procedures in the faculty Design and develop interventions to enhance teaching and learning in the faculty and promote student success. Investigation of current educational practices and promotion of scholarship of learning in the faculty Assisting in designing and delivering a development program for the faculty on aspects related to first year experience. Responsibility for PQM and coordination of new programme proposals and applications Responsibility for quality assurance in teaching and learning Quality assurance and involvement in accreditations processes within departments Assist with the coordination and implementation of new HEQF aligned programs within the faculty. Responsibility for faculty review reports. Responsibility for faculty qualifications reviews Staff development workshops on learning and teaching activities. Faculty representative in learning and teaching related committees in the university. Chair the Faculty Learning and Teaching Committee. Interact with, and report to the Faculty Board Executive Committee and Senate L&T Committees. Strong planning, organizational, management and coordination abilities Demonstration of knowledge of all relevant aspects of learning and teaching policies and strategies Project management skills Report writing skills. Effective proposal writing skills. Good time management skills Record keeping and report writing skills. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team.
