Job Title: Lecturer (PL1): Information Technology (NCV) Location: Fish Hoek, Western Cape, South Africa Reference : DCLE100 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: R 211,731.00 – 589,398.00 Annually Job Summary: RESPONSIBILITIES: •Scheduled teaching contact hours (including practical instruction, mentoring and support) •To teach Multimedia Basic, Multimedia Content, Multi Media Services, Information Systems and Electronics •Extra and co-curricular duties •Administration (Class registers, lesson plans) •Professional duties (Meetings, workshops, official college functions, seminars, conferences etc) •Invigilating •Planning, preparation and evaluation •Marking test/exam papers •Professional development Requirements: •Relevant Degree or Diploma in IT •Training, teaching or facilitating experience •Language proficiency in English RECOMMENDATIONS: •A relevant teaching qualification •A BSC degree •Registered Assessor and/or Moderator: NCV IT & HC ICT: ITSM •Knowledge of .asp, .net, css, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, SQL, Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator •Experience soldering electronic circuits •Experienced in storytelling, sound (production & editing), photography & editing, computer-based production of 3D graphics/animation •Experienced with editing videos & moving pictures, electronic publication, producing multimedia products, planning multimedia content •Experience teaching in the TVET sector Complete the online application and upload your CV and all relevant supporting documentation (including academic transcripts) to the portal.
