MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12/ Matric At least 3 years previous farming experience Previous experience with citrus and vegetable production Computer literate – must have good working knowledge of MS Excel Experience/ knowledge of Global G.A.P., Siza Social & Siza Environmental Audit background Ability to work with and motivate a team Effective verbal and communication skills High level of commitment, accuracy and attention to quality Somebody who is self-disciplined, with a high level of integrity, is dedicated to precision farming and excellence. Must be someone with perseverance, who is hardworking and self-driven Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous Valid code 14 drivers license RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Management of personnel on farm Communication between staff and management Daily communication with warehouse manager regarding product availability Management of planting, fertilization, irrigation, spraying of lettuce and citrus Manage the harvesting processes of citrus and lettuce Record keeping for audits Basic mechanical maintenance of vehicles and implements.
