Key purpose To take responsibility for the timely and accurate processing, payment allocation and reconciliation of supplier transactions for Healthy Company and HomeCare. To take responsibility for the timely and accurate allocation of payments to customer/client accounts and follow up on outstanding amounts to ensure maximum debt recovery. Key Outputs Reconciliation of monthly statements to invoices and goods received notes Follow up on invoices, credit notes and statements Follow up on proof of payments Achievement of department metrics as set out and agreed on debtors and creditors Adhere to all company SOP's Assisting with stock takes Attending meetings / team builds/training onsite/offsite from time to time Personal attributes and skills The following competencies and behavioural indicators are relevant to the position: Customer Focus - is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers Deciding and initiating action Integrity and Trust - can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner Compassion - is available and ready to help Action Orientated - is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging Planning - sets objectives and goal Learning on the fly - learns quickly when facing new problems Problem Solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent Communication skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to multitask and prioritize Qualification & Experience Matric Good understanding of rejection codes on claims with Discovery Health Medical Scheme An accounting diploma is advantageous EMPLOYMENT EQUITY The Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
