Finance Assistant (Renewables) - Cape Town City Centre
Great opportunity to join a company in the Renewable Energy sector as a Finance Assistant. This role is based in Cape Town.
This role is suited to a university graduate with 3+ years' experience in bookkeeping and accounting. The person must be smart, driven, curious and meticulous, with strong MS Excel skills. Exposure to Renewable Energy / Construction / Engineering / Mining industries would be preferred.
This role would work on all South African entities, which include the holding company, development company, and all project companies. Areas of the role include:
- Invoice Processing (supplier invoices, employee expenses)
- Payment Processing (prepare and export batches)
- Accounting & Reporting
- Systems & Internal Controls (user testing, designing, and implementing new internal controls)
- Ad hoc projects
