Finance Business Partner - Cape Town Region

Houst, a leader in the property technology sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner to drive our financial strategy and optimise operational performance. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of our finance team, collaborating closely with various departments across the organisation to provide financial insight, analysis, and strategic guidance. You will play a critical role in supporting decision-making processes, driving business performance, and ensuring financial sustainability. Partner with Senior Leadership and stakeholders to understand their financial needs and objectives. Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and insights to support strategic decision-making and operational planning. Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports. Conduct regular financial reviews with Senior Leadership to monitor performance against targets and KPIs. Identify cost optimisation opportunities and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability. Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls. Provide ad-hoc analysis and support on special projects as required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced qualifications such as MBA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA preferred. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data and communicate insights effectively to non-finance stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis. Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems preferred. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
