Look no further My client is a leading financial organization in Nairobi, and they are on the lookout for a talented Finance Manager to join their team. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain financial accounts through meticulous month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations in line with IFRS standards. Develop intricate financial models to drive strategic decision-making. Liaise with external auditors, ensuring smooth quarterly and annual audits, and implement recommendations promptly. Forecast monthly and quarterly cash requirements, prepare budgets, and manage receivables/payables efficiently. Collaborate with finance and credit operations teams for investor reporting, covenant compliance, and financial analysis. Monitor financial markets, providing crucial data for debt and equity pipelines, keeping the CEO and COO informed. Your Skills and Experience: 7 years of financial accounts audit experience, with 5 years in a high-growth startup. Lateral experience in corporate finance, investments, transactions, or Fintech is highly valued. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of IFRS9 standards. Familiarity with local taxation and experience in KRA audits. Professional qualification: CPA or ACCA. Added advantage: Fintech or Tier 1 East African Banking industry or Big Four accounting firms experience. Added advantage: Background in Fintech or Lending/Credit.
