The client has manufacturing plants in East London, Pretoria and Durban all of which are associated with component manufacture to support the various OEMs in the automotive sector of SA. The candidate may be based in either location but travel to Head Office in East London will be necessary bi-monthly. Together with the FD oversee the full finance and accounting functions of the 3 businesses. Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis required to inform the strategic decision-making necessary to enhance profitability. Follow divisional procedures and controls and ensure compliance with local accounting principles, rules and tax regulations. Prepare and present reports. Daily focus on STD costing. inter-company sales and contribution. Balance Sheet recon, SOX reports. Fixed Assets. Project Management. Internal controls and B/S recons. Sales price control. Payroll review. Month-end closes. Hedging, currency management and cash forecasting. CA (SA) Minimum 5-years as head of Finance team with a national footprint Excellent IFRS knowledge Proven track-record of team management A highly attractive CTC will be negotiated to secure the ideal candidate - standard large corporate benefits apply.
