Salt Finance Manager Key Responsibilities: ● Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures ● Preparation and analysis of monthly reporting packs and budgets ● Interact with auditors to provide required support for audits ● Prepare quarterly financial performance and budget packs and board report packs ● Offer insight into business performance while supporting business planning, forecasting and budgeting processes of the company ● Provide financial guidance by studying operational issues, applying financial principles and practices, and developing recommendations ● Reviews and recommends modifications to accounting systems and procedures ● Prepare and manage an Internal Control Framework for finance ● Prepare 3 Year Projections and Forecasting Analysis ● Preparation of interim and year-end statutory reporting (financial statements) ● Assist in reporting system templates and report changes and finance improvement projects ● Complete monthly and ad hoc information for external/internal stakeholders ● Leadership and ownership of the finance team ● Ensuring operational delivery of the finance team is maintained and managed by reviewing the finance teams work timeously ● Monthly variance analysis for all revenue and operating expense lines to understand movements month to month ● Review all Taxation, VAT and Payroll Taxes submitted. ● Manage daily cash liquidity ● Responsible for working capital management ● Offer insights in terms of cost containing measures Required Skills: ● Organised ● Ability to multitask and manage priorities ● Analytical ● Detail-oriented ● Leadership skills ● Good communicator (oral and written) ● Strong level of self-management and motivation ● QuickBooks ● Advanced Microsoft excel skills ● Google sheets ● Navigation of various banking systems Minimum Requirements: ● 3 -5 years financial management experience ● Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Minimum requirement) ● CA (SA) and/or CIMA advantageous ● Previous financial manager experience in an e-commerce/ retail environment advantageous ● Detail understanding and experience in driving and managing external audits ● Treasury & working capital management Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
