Duties:

• Manage and conduct reviews of financial data: Ensure that financial data are accurate, complete, and technically correct within the applicable framework.
• Provide accounting support to participants and their service providers regarding processing of information on financial software in accordance with the farm management analysis requirements.
• Review and approve financial data inputs where participants process their own data according to accounting standards.
• Implementation of financial management system at participant where applicable. Do training if needed.
• Present relevant financial information to farmer in the form of system generated reports, income statements, balance sheets and various other relevant reports.
• Liaise with participants service providers and or accountants in terms of the future data and software requirements.
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement data for production report finalisation. Verification of data must be done after inputs on the model.
• Export various data form SAP needed for production reports (for e.g. grain sales, account balance)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• SAIPA or SAICA

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years experience in financial and or managerial accounting.
• Exposure to agricultural business environment as well the field of agricultural-economics is can be beneficial.

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• A collaborative team player with high integrity
