You will be responsible, yet not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:Overseeing of accounting operationsYou need to ensure that the capturing of client invoices are done timeouslyEnsure collection of outstanding debtorsPrepare monthly accounting journals for reviewMaintain updated insurance policy schedule for all insured itemsPrepare monthly intercompany confirmation reportsAssist in all bank communication requestsPerform accounting processes to support accounting operations such as monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accountsMaintain the billing process and systemEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and proceduresPerform regular reviews of procurement procedures to mitigate risksReview and recommend efficient accounting processAssist in setting up and monitoring of internal controlsImplement and maintain financial related company policiesPrepare ad-hoc analysis reports as neededKeep up to date with relevant accounting standards, regulations and best practicesAdhere to the Information Security Management System policies and procedures Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years post articles experience in accountingExcellent knowledge of ERP SystemsExcellent analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeVery good knowledge of accounting principlesContribute innovative ideas within the finance team Qualification:Completed BCom degree in AccountingCompleted articles Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTF018082.
