Key responsibilities:- Oversee daily financial transactions, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyze financial data and reports to help improve our operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics department to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Assist in financial forecasting and risk analysis.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Completed SAIPA articles
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in logistics or a related industry.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
