Reference: JHB004699-Tonia-1A JSE Listed manufacturer based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Group Accountant / Financial Accountant with 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role. Minimum Requirements Matric BCom degree Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role in a manufacturing industry SAP or similar ERP experience Valid driver’s license and own vehicle The Financial Accountant is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the company’s financial operations Build and lead a strong finance team. Oversee all financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures and monitor their effectiveness. Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis related to costs, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and regulatory requirements. Manage the preparation of budgets, financial projections, and other financial reports, and provide regular updates on financial performance to key stakeholders. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support decision making by management. Ensure compliance with all tax regulations Analyze and interpret variances between actual and budgeted costs, investigation reasons for discrepancies and recommending corrective actions as necessary R 60 000 - R 80 000 - Monthly plus Including medical aid and pension fund
