Our client, one of South Africa's FMCG favourites, is looking for a Financial Accountant for an 8-month contract position at their office in Pinetown. Key Performance Areas: Review of supporting documents and releasing of online payments Assisting with preparation of the interim and year end financial statements Assisting with preparation of supporting workings to the financial statement process Assisting with technical research- IFRS matters Assisting with the IFRS 9 workings Assisting with the IFRS 16 workings Assisting with preparation of banking covenant calculations Assisting with Investor relation queries Provide support to the group treasury function Requirements: CA (SA) Immediately available 2 years' post-Articles experience Articles completed at a Big 4 Firm Proven technical knowledge of IFRS Proficiency in SAP & MS Office High stress tolerance & ability to work efficiently under pressure Strong analytical & reporting capabilities Quality-oriented & self-driven to achieve results
