Our dynamic and diverse company in the Renewable Energy Sector is looking for a results-driven and confident financial accountant to ensure accurate and complete recording of all financial records including intercompany transactions and tax matters. To support the Financial Controller to ensure efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations in the finance department. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and be a team player. Duties include the following, but not limited to: Supplier Management (PRs; Invoices; Statements) Intercompany Transactions Forex Management and Administration Fixed Asset Management Liaise with Operations and Engineering department SARS Returns and Administration Assistance with Annual Financial Statements General Accounting, Bookkeeping and Recordkeeping Key Performance Areas: Intercompany Transactions - processing and balancing Balance Sheet Reconciliations Supplier Management Procurement Process management Payment Preparations SARS Returns and Administration Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register Updating of Financial Records Monthly Financial Accounting Preparation of Financial Statements Compliance to policies and procedures General Accounting, Bookkeeping and Recordkeeping Key Performance Indicators: Accuracy of Financial Data and Information Debtors and Creditors Days Compliance to Financial Controls Requirements: B-Comm Accounting Degree SAIPA articles completed - preferable. Minimum 3 years financial experience Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Sage/ Sage Evolution/Pastel and MS Office Attention to detail Results and deadline driven Systematic and organised Independent and Disciplined Negotiable depending on experience
