Financial Administrative Assistant - Paarl

Our client in Paarl is looking for a responsible, energetic person to stand in for the role of Financial Administrative Assistant from the 1st of March - July 2024.

This person will report directly to the financial manager & customer service manager, must be highly efficient, pay attention to detail, be accurate and be able to fit into an existing team and grow with the business.

The applicant must have:

Minimum qualification – Grade 12 with accountancy and mathematics

A relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage

5 years' experience in cash book, debtors, stores & general finance

Experienced in working with foreign currencies

Experienced in using accounting packages, ERP system (QMuzik) & Excel

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work accurately, prioritise and pay attention to detail to manage this diverse role efficiently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for amongst others:

Cashbook transactions

Debtors control – follow up on outstanding invoices, sending invoices & statement, updating customer details etc.

Manage inventory & assist with stock takes & variance analysis

Administration of the warranty process

Process purchase orders & receiving for local suppliers

Fleet card & credit card administration.

Balance sheet recons for foreign subsidiaries

Basic finance & admin duties
