Financial Administrator - South Africa

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team. The Financial Administrator will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, payments, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow. Budget Management: Assist in the development of the annual budget and monitor actual performance against budgeted targets. Track and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Prepare regular financial reports for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies. Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Assist in the preparation of financial models, forecasts, and projections. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive efficiency and profitability. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure accurate financial data and effective communication. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as vendors, clients, and auditors, to address financial inquiries and resolve issues. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience as a Financial Administrator, Financial Assistant, or similar role. Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
