Qualifications:

Skills:

Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently
Strong analytical and reporting abilities
Familiarity with internal audit processes

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the administration of financial activities, including purchases, asset management, and month/year-end processes
Maintain accurate records of purchases, ensuring adherence to policies and reconciliation of invoices
Manage fixed asset registers, depreciation calculations, and asset marking
Handle systems management, including network, telephone, and computer programs
Support with month/year-end journal preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Perform daily bank transactions posting, reconciliation, and payment processing
Undertake ad-hoc projects, queries, and investigations as needed

Expected Outputs:

Accurate and timely posting of purchases and reconciliation of invoices
Maintenance of up-to-date fixed asset registers and adherence to depreciation schedules
Efficient handling of systems management and IT-related issues
Timely completion of month/year-end financial processes and accurate journal processing
Error-free bank transaction processing and beneficiary detail updating
Effective support provided to the Financial Manager on statutory payments/returns and management accounts
