Reference: NFR003056-PaB-1Cultivate financial success at the heart of manufacturing Our client, a prominent manufacturing specialist located in Brakpan, is in need of a highly proficient Financial Factory Manager to join their team. As the Financial Factory Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to our management team, facilitating proactive adjustments and fostering cost efficiency across the business.This role is based in Brakpan, Johannesburg East.Responsibilities: Generate detailed management reports monthly, accompanied by strategic suggestions for the business management team. Your analyses will be pivotal in guiding informed decisions to optimize costs efficiently. Establish and refine reporting frameworks to monitor and evaluate plant performance. Your reports will be critical in assessing operational efficiency and pinpointing areas for enhancement. Coordinate and compile annual cost centre budgets, utilizing SAP models to compute budgeted unit costs. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate and streamlined budgeting processes. Prepare Rolling Forecasts and monthly estimated costs, equipping the management team with up-to-date financial projections for decision-making. Lead the World Class Manufacturing Cost Deployment Pillar, actively promoting cost consciousness and efficiency across the organization. Oversee, manage, and produce accurate reports on Product Costing, encompassing Standard Costs & Actual Costs. Your insights will be instrumental in supporting strategic business decisions. Conduct cost simulations and furnish unit costs for new products, empowering the product team to make informed pricing decisions. Establish annual standard costs for all products, maintaining precision in financial records. Implement cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and financial regulations. Perform cost analysis and production variance analysis to detect and rectify irregularities, fostering continuous improvement and cost effectiveness. Standardize costing processes and procedures to achieve operational efficiency and uniformity across the organization. Collaborate with the plant leadership team to ensure adherence to business controls, promoting financial accuracy and transparency. Participate in inventory counts and review inventory scrapping and adjustments, aiming to minimize such activities and uphold robust business controls. Coordinate SAP CO month-end closure, ensuring punctual and accurate financial reporting. Reassess Finished Goods inventory against actual figures, providing an accurate representation of our financial standing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting / Finance or a related field. CIMA professional designation (non-negotiable).
