Financial Manager - Pretoria

Job & Company Description:

The company oversees every stage of transport projects, starting from assessing project viability, progressing through implementation, and culminating in operational management. These comprehensive services cater to various transport setups.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • Oversee accounting processes within the group, ensuring compliance with IFRS
  • Lead the budget process and guide managers/executives
  • Prepare monthly management statements and other financial reports by the reporting deadline
  • Complete company income tax returns for the entity and submit them on time
  • Meet year-end reporting deadlines and collaborate effectively with external auditors
  • Offer sound financial advice to management and handle reasonable requests
  • Create and maintain a climate conducive to performance to ensure that the department delivers against objectives
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for public sector organizations preferred (e.g. GRAP, PFMA and MFMA)
  • Advanced level of proficiency relating to the MS Office
  • Proman experience would be an advantage

Qualifications
  • Qualified CA(SA)
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience applying International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Experience in auditing government entities
