Financial Manager - - Midrand

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the finance department as well as providing critical support and optimizing overall operational efficiency.

Your duties include but are not limited too:

Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management
Maintains the accounting system
Performs accurate financial reporting and timeous debtors/creditors payments.
Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals
Prepares financial statements
Prepares financial forecasts
Manages budget and controls expenditure
Tracks budget to actual variances and provides insights
Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance
Analyses revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets
Assists management to make financial decisions
Supervises employees
Investigates means to improve profitability
Processes payments
Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business

Education:

BCom/ Diploma in Accounting/Finance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a Managerial role
Experience in IFRS17 and Financial Modeling non-negotiable, it must show on your CV
Advanced Excel ideally
Financial acumen
Hands on personality
