A leading agricultural firm based in Stellenbosch is currently seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, preferably CA qualified
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

Responsibilities:

Generating accurate stock reports and maintaining stock control systems
Reviewing VAT, payroll, and other financial deliverables to ensure compliance with regulations
Compiling management accounts and providing insightful analysis
Enhancing and maintaining financial controls to safeguard company assets
Reviewing payments and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Managing customer credit limits and monitoring accounts receivable
Maintaining asset registers and ensuring proper depreciation accounting
Providing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) support and contributing to system improvements
Reviewing commission structures and ensuring accuracy in calculations

Reporting Line: This position will report directly to the Financial Manager, collaborating closely to meet organizational goals and financial objectives.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
