A leading entity within the short- term Insurance space is looking for a Financial Manager to join their dynamic team. Accurately reporting of the monthly Underwriting Management Agencies (UMAs) bordereaux on the technical finance system Completing and reviewing month end processes and files timeously for interfacing into the General ledger Preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations on various technical insurance balances and profit commission calculations as required Preparation of information for IFRS 17 and analysis of results Conduct monthly analysis on the performance of UMAs and present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders Group reporting and financial statement preparation Preparation of IFRS 17 quarterly reporting Ensure that all processes are well documented and followed in order to assist with queries for internal and external audits during the year, including financial statement and SASRIA audits CA (SA) Minimum of 3 years post articles relevant work experience in the short term insurance industry preferred; MS Office – Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; SAP knowledge (Advantage); Market Related
