Our Refrigeration Warehousing Client is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team in Durban . Salary: Market-Related Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent qualification. CPA / CA(SA) or equivalent qualification an advantage. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Minimum 7 years of experience in related field (Manufacturing experience preferred). Experience in a managerial position or supervisory role for the last 3 years. To provide critical business support Fluent command of English, spoken and written. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in an ERP and reporting system. Change orientation, understanding people as well as holding the team accountable Responsibilities: Establish and maintain processes to ensure that all revenue, costs, assets, and liabilities are captured accurately and in the appropriate accounting period. Ensure GL setup is accurate and aligned to Group guidelines. Compilation of the annual budget in conjunction with the Terminal / Business manager. Developing the overhead budget for the business. Accurate monthly forecasting process for the business. Liaise with the Management team (across all functions) to ensure the accuracy of income statements and balance sheets for the remainder of the financial year. Responsible for managing all external finance facilities in the most efficient way possible. Ensuring that all loan schedules are up to date and accurate. Responsible for managing and forecasting the cash flow for the business on a weekly and monthly basis. Ensure the company remains tax compliant through adherence and compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws and filings. Responsible for the completion and submission of all SARS returns for the entity. Payroll review including contributions to social security, pensions, and related tax filings.
