Print Finishing Assistant – Cape Farms near Durbanville Hills, Western Cape ZaPOP has an opportunity available for an energetic, hands-on go-getter who likes to work in a fast-paced environment. We are on the lookout for a positive and dependable Finishing Assistant to join the Printing team. The Finishing Assistant transforms printed substrates into various types of media, while ensuring the end product is of the best possible quality and finished on time as per the deadline. Key Responsibilities: • Operating machinery, including aristo cutters, liquid laminators, cold laminators, heat benders, drill presses, and flat-bed laminators. • Finishing of various media types. • Preparation and finishing of media that requires LED lights. • Applying edging to substrates. • Lifting 15 to 20 heavy vinyl rolls weighing 20 to 25kg for lamination per day. • Finishing of vehicle branding panels after lamination. • Checking media quality. Minimum Requirements: • Matric/Grade 12. • One year’s working experience in a similar field. • Experience as a Finishing Assistant in the printing or vehicle branding field would be advantageous. • Computer literacy.
